how do i get started in public speaking?

I was always interested in public speaking, I love the middle, I had the best speech for the elections of the student at school, I am only 14 help!

    join the debating club/team at your school.
    ask to read things in assembly.
    ask your english teacher..?
    lots of volunteering basically, so you will be noticed and heard. :)

    Debate/Knowledge bowl teams.

    Forensics- counts as a speech credit in highschool I believe. It is a personal favorite of mine..

    Joinging commitess and doing lots of communitee service also helps. Doing fund raising raises people attention to you and your services, so eventually you’ll be ask to make a speech.

    Just writing lots of exploratory writing/ speechs helps you if you practice ina mirror. Watching the news alot too.
