public speaking
Mackenzie G asked:

My family is going to be on Dott. Phil why. . well because my dad felt the need to transmit radio editions of our whole nation. In every way. I agreed to switch just because it was a lot bennficial people. But seem to be talking to terrorize the public. Any tips on how you overcome that?

    Good old Dad…

    Pick one person in the audience to look at while you’re speaking. Always worked for me.

    When you get up there, BREATHE! It sounds simple but its important to keep that in mind when you go up there. You should also find other ways to relax yourself before you go up because if not, your nerves are gonna get to ya. Some people like to eat before they go up, some people do a self-pep talk to calm themselves. Find something that helps focus and relax you (maybe listen to some calming music).

    Just remember, your going up there to help some people. And the audience are people who’s gonna realize that and respect ya for it. Even if your a lil scared. Once you really get into it though, the fear will go away.

    Good luck!
