what is a good excuse for getting out of public speaking for a presentation during class?

1. talk to your partners. say: since i did most of the work could u do most of the talking. they’ll usually agree that you did most.
2. talk to the teacher if they won’t listen
3. just talk anyways, to ensure a good grade
4. tell everyone your throat really hurts(be careful, and don’t blow this by talking a lot)… (i’ve also never tried this one)

If its something you dislike doing that much, you ought to gut up and do it. that’s the only way you’ll ever get over it….

You have to take a deep breath and just do it. You don’t want to fail the class.

Just do it. The best way to get over a fear is to face it and overcome it. It gets easier everytime you do it. Just think, someday your job may depend on how you make a presentation for your company. Get that skill now.

I know you won’t like to hear this but the more you speak, the better at it you become. Be sure you are thoroughly prepared and practice in front of someone at home, or even practice while looking into a mirror. Try to remember that almost everyone else is feeling the same way as you.
